Instructors

Les Moore, ND, MSOM, DHANP, CCH, RH, LAc.

Chief Instructor

Les Moore is a pioneer and one of the world’s leaders of Integrative Medicine, being the only Naturopathic Doctor, Homeopath, and Licensed Acupuncturist to have served as Director of two Integrative Medicine Centers and be employed in two hospitals. He has authored two leading books on healing and continues to write and lecture internationally.
Dr. Moore received a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, and a Certificate of Homeopathy from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Moore is a Diplomate of the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians and is a Certified Classical Homeopath of the Council on Homeopathic Certification. He is also a Registered Herbalist of the American Herbalists Guild. He is a New York State licensed acupuncturist and is Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He has also earned a Master of Arts in Applied Theology and a Graduate Certificate in Interfaith Pastoral and Spiritual Care from Marylhurst University in Marylhurst, Oregon.

Ann Smith

Herbalist

Ann is an herbalist at Classical Formulas who has completed the Diploma of Botanical Medicine from the Botanical Medicine Institute.

Christine Nerney-Zapetis

Herbalist

Chris is an herbalist at Classical Formulas who has completed the Diploma of Botanical Medicine from the Botanical Medicine Institute. She has also completed an Associates degree in Biology from the Finger Lakes Community College and a Bachelor's of Arts in Anthropology from William Smith College with a focus in ethnobotany and traditional plant usage in primitive cultures.

Kimberly Burkard

Field Botantist/Herbalist, Technical Support

Kimberly Burkard, Bachelor of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, is a graduate of the Botanical Medicine Institute's Diploma Program. While Kim has also completed other botanical and herbal certificates, programs, and workshops from various other educational sources, she is a life-long gardener, herbalist, and lover of all plants. She has specialized knowledge of field identification, wildcrafting, native plants, ethnobotany, and herb cultivation.
With a long history as an IT professional plus varied experience in design, publishing, writing, and digital art, Kim is the manager and designer of our website, Facebook page, blog, and YouTube channel.
